May shopping list

Eat seasonally: it’s May and it is the last month of the spring season. We’re almost ready for summer time! Traditionally, May is also the month when people get married. So much love! The name May might come from Maia, the fertility goddess.

There are so many proverbs about this incredible month.

Here one of them: in May, start saving wood and cheese. Depending on the weather of this Month, the harvest will be good or not. May can be warm, but it doesn’t have to be too warm.

It is also the season of flowering and blossoming, so when you go to the farmers market, look also at the beautiful flowers it may offer.
